HISTORY OF JVECO INSTRUMENTS
Founder: Late M Shafi Nagra
JVECO began in 1978 under the leadership of Late Shafi Nagra, who started manufacturing surgical instruments. At the time, the production was entirely manual, relying on artisan skills with little mechanical technology. Despite limited resources and communication channels, the company quickly earned appreciation and trust from foreign buyers for its quality instruments.
In 1992, Shafi Nagra’s eldest son, Muhammad Javed Nagra, joined the business. With his extensive global market research and experience gained from international business tours, he introduced modern machinery and expanded the product range to include dental instruments. The export of dental tools brought positive feedback and motivated the company to strive harder.
As globalization and electronic media grew in the 1980s, the company identified the growing demand for manicure and pedicure instruments. This led to the establishment of a dedicated production section staffed by expert designers and professionals. JVECO’s ophthalmic instruments also gained significant acclaim, helping the company establish a global presence across various medical instrument categories.
The company earned multiple national and international quality awards during this period. The entry of the third generation, Mr. Haroon Javed Nagra and Mr. Najaf Javed Nagra, brought revolutionary changes by adopting advanced technology to meet evolving biological needs and market demands.
By the end of 2008, JVECO further strengthened its portfolio by launching Orthodontic instruments, Orthopedic instruments, ENT instruments, Ophthalmic instruments, Podiatry instruments solidifying its image as a leading manufacturer in the healthcare instrument industry.
